ASTA Platform is one of the early projects in Korea to start a digital asset payment business, and now it is well developed. In 2020, ASTA developed the ASTA Wallet to simplify user operations, and the ASTA Tour to expand payment application scenarios based on the payment platform. Currently, it’s actively developing overseas markets.
ASTA Platform has joined the Korea Blockchain Association as a regular member in Oct. 2021, and it is applying for the certification of the ISMS and Virtual Asset Service Provider.
There are about 40,000 monthly active users on ASTA Tour. ASTA has partnered with over 110 merchants including restaurants, convenience stores, movie theaters, and gift cards. Over 270 hotels and resorts in Korea have partnered with ASTA Tour.
ASTA Platform has a core team of 40-50 employees. The technical team consists of 19 engineers from the 92 employees of the parent company Korfin Holdings, while THE ASTA Korea Inc. team is primarily responsible for platform operations with 24 employees. The CEO and CTO of ASTA Platform's core team are also the CEO and CTO of Korfin Holdings, with over 7 years of management experience in their respective fields.
